“Boomer” is a handsome bright colored red roan gelding that has as much shape as you can put on one. He stands 14.2hh and weighs approximately 1250 pounds. Not only is he gorgeous he is as cow bred as they get! Boomer is by Once In A Blu Boon (LTE $318,000+) and out of a daughter of NCHA leading sire High Brow Cat who has offspring earning over 70 million!! We have owned Boomer since he was 3 years old. He was started by a cutting trainer when we bought him and we have advanced him since. Boomer is very talented and has a cool feel to him. Really wants to stop and work off his hind end, great with his leads, has a good handle, and is soft in the face and sides. We have ridden Boomer outside through the fields, woods, and along the road introducing him to as much stuff as we possibly can. He has heel, breakaway, or calf horse written all over him. He has the ideal build with his impeccable conformation, big popping hip, wide chest, and great bone and feet! Boomer does have one vice that we have found like most good ones do, he will weave in a stall if there is commotion going on in the barn. He is great outside in a herd.
