Trooper
“Trooper” is the definition of mister steady Eddie! This gelding is point and go, super easy to operate, always gentle, and stays trained. Trooper is a finished reiner that has show experience, been trail ridden, ropes the machine, and has packed several green riders around the farm. He is the chill, easy going guy that definitely doesn’t get too excited about much of anything.
He is a great mover, I don’t believe you’ll ride one much smoother than him. He has a beautiful extended jog, natural level headset, great speed control in all gaits, loves whoa, and has that smooth rocking chair lope with an easy lead change. Trooper has all of the tools to make a top end ranch rider in our opinion.
Trooper has been ridden on the trails, he crosses anything you point him towards, traffic safe, used to cats, dogs, and our wild toddler and all of his noisy toys. He is very forgiving with kids and inexperienced riders and likes to go slow and easy. Trooper is the type of horse that is the exact same horse every time you swing your leg over him. There are no surprises or colty moments with him, he stays gentle and trained, that is why we call him mister steady Eddie.
The options are endless with this guy. He’s one of the prettiest chestnut geldings we’ve owned. He has IMPECCABLE conformation, great bone and feet, huge forearm, gasket muscle, and a beautiful head and neck. He’s sturdy built and built to stay sound a lifetime.
Trooper is by Inferno Sixty Six which makes him a half sibling to The Fireman, winner of the 2024 NRHA Open Futurity with a score of 229 in the finals! Inferno Sixty Six has a LTE $220,000 himself and has sired $2,432,310.
Great gelding that we know you’ll enjoy when you get him home! Has his NRHA competition license. Sound, current on all vaccinations, dental, farrier, coggins, health, and basic pre purchase exam. For more information call Riley at (507)459-8654. Stands right at 15 hands tall.
