“Hudson” is a gorgeous dual-registered AQHA/APHA buckskin gelding by HF Mobster. This handsome gelding is sure to catch your eye with his striking baby-blue eyes and exceptional presence.

Hudson is EXTRA gentle and is truly one of the quietest, easiest-going horses we have ever owned. He was started in a reining program, and his previous owner exposed him to just about everything you can imagine. He is excellent with obstacles, rides English, is mounting block trained, has been trail ridden extensively, and is completely traffic safe.

This guy is so slow, quiet, and trustworthy that we confidently let our 4-year-old son ride him on his own, something we rarely ever do on a 4-year-old horse. Hudson is smooth moving, naturally loves to stop, and has a nice, easy handle that makes him enjoyable for riders of all experience levels.

He has been shown in ranch riding and ranch trail, taking every obstacle and every new environment in stride. New arenas, commotion, and busy showgrounds simply don’t bother him. Hudson is family-safe for riders of all ages and abilities. Whether you’re looking for a dependable 4-H partner or a horse to be competitive at weekend ranch shows, Hudson has the talent and disposition to excel at both.

Hudson genuinely loves people. He enjoys being groomed and bathed, stands quietly to be clipped, and saddles up gentle every single ride, no matter how much time he’s had off. He truly has the mind and personality of an old soul in a young horse’s body.

Hudson stands 14.2 hands tall and is deaf, which is not uncommon in some reining-bred horses. It does not affect him in the slightest. He is never jumpy or reactive, and if we didn’t tell you, you would never know. His quiet, willing attitude and dependable nature make him an exceptional family horse.
