Joker

Joker 2023 AQHA Gelding

NOTES: “Joker” is the most kind, willing young gelding, and he has truly been one of my favorite projects this summer. I’ve had an absolute blast showing him, and WOW has this horse taken a liking to the show pen and really shined! Just a couple of weeks ago at the IQHA Futurity, Joker was the Champion in the 3-Year-Old Non Pro Ranch Trail AND Ideal Ranch Rail, taking home right around $6,400 in earnings! He also finished 3rd in the Overall 3-Year-Old Non Pro Average. Earlier this summer, he was the High Point 3/4-Year-Old at the Hawkeye Classic. This gelding hauls like an old seasoned pro and adjusts to new environments with ease. He is extremely brave with all of the trail pattern obstacles and doesn’t get nervous on the rail, even in huge classes. He has been an absolute blast to show. He truly is an old soul in a young horse’s body. Joker is always eager to please, extremely kind and lovable to be around, and has the smoothest way of moving. Outside of the show pen, I’ve put a ton of general riding on him around the farm, down the road, and through the fields. He has been around cattle, is good with a rope, and is great with kids and all of their loud, noisy toys. My boys have even shown him in leadline. He is just a very safe, dependable young gelding. Joker stands roughly 15.1 hands, is absolutely sound, has no vices, and saddles up gentle every single ride. He is a very easy horse to have around and does not need to stay with a trainer to stay trained. He is also eligible to go back to the IQHA Futurity next year, giving his next owner another opportunity to take this young horse back and win some money. Joker is just a really, really good young gelding that I have thoroughly enjoyed having around. He is ready to go be someone else’s number one, whether that’s in the show pen, rope horse futurities, or simply as a nice family horse. I’m excited to see what this special gelding does for his next person. Current on all cares and basic ppe with soundness letter from our veterinarian.
