“Romeo” is a gorgeous, golden palomino gelding with all the wow factor! He is the whole package, and is as versatile as they come. Stands 15 hands tall and weight tapes at 1250 pounds. He is ready to haul and has been hauled in both the breakaway and the calf roping, been ranched on, trail rides great, and could easily head to the ranch horse shows! We purchased Romeo off of the family that bred, raised, and trained him in the roping and ranched on him. Since owning him we have put all the fancy buttons on him in the arena. He has a great handle, jogs low headed and smooth, lopes off from a stand still, has hip/body control, and really wants to stop. Romeo is quiet minded and wants to please. He’s confident out on the trails, crosses downfall, wooden bridges, and water crossings without a fuss. Romeo could care less if he’s in the back or the front in a group ride and doesn’t get worked up about much of anything. He’s respectful to be around, loves bathes, and all the pampering he can get. Romeo was trained in the breakaway and calf roping by one of the best rodeo family’s in Montana, he’s solid and sane. Really cool gelding that is high bred as well. He is by a son of Palo Duro Cat who is an NCHA and NRCHA money earner and out of a daughter of Romeo White Feathers who is a money and point earner in five different events and has thrown several successful barrel horses.
