Scout

Scout 2020 AQHA Chestnut Gelding

“Scout” is a beautiful, deep chestnut gelding with a uniquely marked face, standing 14.2 hands tall and sired by Tricked Out Spook. He has excellent ground manners, a kind disposition, and is fun to ride.

Scout comes with a solid reining foundation that gives him all the fun, user-friendly buttons. He has a fancy handle, a big stop, a cute jog, and a collected lope. Before we purchased him, his previous owner had also been heeling on him out of the box, adding to his versatility.

He is a confident trail horse that willingly steps out, crosses obstacles, and will take you wherever you want to go. Scout has spent plenty of time pushing cattle and checking fences, proving himself to be a dependable and practical ranch partner.

If you’re looking for a gelding to start taking to weekend ranch shows, Scout has all the training and foundation to be competitive. If showing isn’t your goal, he is equally suited to be a dependable trail horse or an enjoyable all-around horse to have around the farm. With his great mind, solid training, and willing attitude, Scout is the kind of horse that is easy to appreciate every time you saddle him up.

Absolutely sound, current on deworming, farrier, vaccinations, coggins, dental, and basic pre purchase exam. For more information please visit www.schmitthorseranch.com or give us a call 507-459-8654.
