Tinsel is a stunning dark chestnut gelding with a beautiful silver mane and tail, standing 14.2 hands tall with an elegant, eye-catching build. We are proud to be his second owners.

By Little Joe Cash and out of Down Under Diva (a daughter of Topsail Whiz and formerly owned by Clinton Anderson), Tinsel is a finished reiner with over $13,000 in NRHA earnings. He has also transitioned seamlessly into the ranch horse world, where he continues to excel. In the few ranch shows we’ve taken him to, he consistently placed first or second in classes including Ranch Riding, Ranch Rail, and Ranch Trail. Judges absolutely love this horse.

Tinsel is the kind everyone calls searching for, safe, seasoned, sound, and sane. Our 4-year-old son rides him by himself and has even loped him, making Tinsel is a true babysitter that will teach you how a trained horse should feel. He is automatic in all reining maneuvers, exceptionally easy to ride, and gives his rider confidence. Whether you’re an experienced horseman or a beginner, Tinsel makes everyone feel like a pro.

One of his greatest qualities is his consistency. He stays trained regardless of how much time he has off and can easily be maintained at home without the need for a trainer. Saddle him up after time off, and he rides off just like he did the day before.

Around the barn, Tinsel is a pleasure to own. He is gentle to saddle, enjoys attention and grooming, and has completed our full desensitization program. He is comfortable around cattle, works gates, drags logs, crosses bridges, navigates trail obstacles, and has been ridden extensively on trails and down the road.

Tinsel is 100% sound, requires no maintenance, is excellent in a stall, enjoys turnout, and is an easy keeper. We truly cannot say enough good things about this outstanding gelding.
